Community Feeding
Community feeding is accomplished through food giveaways, seasonal giveaways (holidays, back to school), emergencies (crisis, natural disasters, fire), and care packages for released offenders(adult and child). The activities are conducted in the neighborhoods with income medians at/below the poverty level.
Clothing Closet/Mobile Clothing Closet
The clothing closet/mobile clothing closet provides clothing items for individuals in the community. This is accomplished through giveaways, emergencies, and as needed (weather, employment, formal). The mobile closet stands to accommodate individuals who require specific items with transportation as a barrier. Clothing items will also be available for individuals and families in crisis, released offenders(adult and child), and seasonal assistance such as “back to school” and holidays. The activities are conducted in the neighborhoods with income medians at/below the poverty level.
Resources
Community resource support provides assistance with Medicaid applications, SSI/SSDI applications/processes, housing applications, rent/deposits, utilities, employment applications, education applications, linking with mental health resources, linking with child care resources, and other needs in the communities where the median income is at/below the poverty level.
