WHO WE ARE
Kerion Love was birthed even before I knew my own purpose. Kerion Witcher (March 7, 1996- July 4, 2014), a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Our worlds were shattered when we lost him suddenly. The one thing that gave us unimaginable strength, was the love that he shared on this earth that was returned to those closest to him in his death. Premature at birth, he entered the world fighting and if you ask me, he never lost a battle. Kerion was my oldest brother's first son, and if you ask my mother Kerion(Carry-On) was always destined for greatness. In 18 years, he made a difference for a lot of people through pure love, athleticism, and mentorship.

Kerion Love was created to carry-on what my nephew encompassed in just 18 short years. Our hearts move us to address needs as they arise, but Kerion Love stands to reach anyone who has a desire for support, change, and stability. Our goal is to give at-risk communities access to resources that fulfill their hierarchy of needs. It’s proven that individuals function more effectively when their basic needs, psychological needs, and self-fulfillment needs are met. Kerion Love will provide knowledge and education on available resources to eliminate the barrier in our community. This will be achieved through programs such as food drives/closets, clothing drives/closets, parenting/mentoring, application completion (employment, education, disability, Medicaid), community engagement, community linkage, and other services that ensure at-risk communities have access to resources necessary for optimal functioning.
